In 2011, Jess was shocked when she felt a lump. At the age of 27 and no family history of cancer, she assumed that there was a harmless explanation to the strange lump on her body. She was, however, soon diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer. Jess remained extremely positive despite the terrifying news. She was hopeful for a full and speedy recovery - she was ready to put up a fight.
